KISS Android

KISS Android is a book about the Google-developed Android ™ operating system and platform for mobile phones.  KISS is an acronym for Keep It Simply Simple and it was created to teach you how to learn the simple way, I mean simply simple. 

Why KISS Android?

In the current days of technology, the world is constantly changing.  As technology has gotten smaller it has also gotten more powerful as the size and speed are inversely proportional.  The power of a computer 30 years ago took up the space of a 300 foot square room, while today it is more powerful in a mobile phone running the Android operating system. 

The Android operating system is the first open source operating system for a mobile phone.  This means software developers from around the world can all work together to advance the use of technology rather than everybody waiting on a manufacturer.  While some parts of the operating system are protected to guard against applications that could compromise the phone's functionality, software developers will find an open road to development.  The Android open source operating system is the greatest invention since the Internet.

  We at KISS Publishing House believe it will take over and become the standard much like ASCII became the standard for computer communication. 

Our goal with KISS Android is to make learning and understanding this technology simple, I mean simply simple.
